The APPIC Cynthia Belar Scholarship Program

The APPIC Cynthia Belar Scholarship Program was established to help facilitate access to quality doctoral internship and postdoctoral training in Health Service Psychology for students facing financial challenges. Among Dr. Belar's extensive and multi-faceted contributions to the field of psychology, she served as the first female chair of APPIC from 1984-1985. Please continue reading to learn more about the two Belar scholarship types designed exclusively for students who have applied to internship programs (APPIC Cynthia Belar Internship Applicant Scholarship; ACBIAS) and postdoctoral training programs (APPIC Cynthia Belar Postdoctoral Applicant Scholarship; ACBPAS) in the current academic year.
