Accreditation Readiness Project
Overview
The Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) invites programs to apply to participate in this next phase of its Accreditation Readiness Project.

The purpose of this project is to support APPIC-member internship programs moving toward American Psychological Association (APA) accreditation. The target audience will be programs that are prepared to write the APA-required self-study consistent with the APA Standards of Accreditation.

Project Goals
1. Twelve (12) APPIC-member internship programs will submit a self-study to APA within 12 months of the project start date.

2. Clover Educational Consulting Group will oversee these internship programs through a process that requires contact between them and the programs no less than one time per month. These programs will be selected in collaboration with the APPIC Board of Directors using an accreditation readiness tool. The selected programs will be required to provide a status update or submit documentation of progress to the vendor at least one time per month.

3. The selected programs will use consultation to develop their program to meet the Standards of Accreditation (SoA). This program is financially supported by APPIC but there is no guarantee that programs will receive accreditation. There is no cost to the programs.
