ADMISSIONS PORTAL: This portal is for internship programs to access and review submitted applications. The AAPI Admissions Portal functions best on Chrome or Firefox browsers. On each page of the AAPI Admissions Portal, there is a link to the Admissions Portal Help Center that has detailed answers to some common questions. Also, on the bottom right of your computer screen in your portal, you can click the purple Tours icon to get a guided walk-through of several key tasks.
If you get inquiries from applicants stating that they are having difficulty finding your program in the AAPI portal, please remind them that they can use the search filters to find your program using your APPIC Program Member Number. Students will be able to submit applications starting on October 3RD however, the vast majority of applications (~75%) are submitted between 10/29-11/5.
ALL internship sites' portals will close on 11:59pm EASTERN STANDARD TIME on their specified deadline date in the AAPI portal. Need to change your deadline in Phase I? Simply change your deadline in the APPIC directory and it will update the deadline in the Portal at midnight. (Don’t call support to change your deadline as it will revert to the deadline in the directory at midnight)
If you are seeing your applicants from last year, you will need to adjust your program settings to reflect current cycle by archiving last year’s applicants. Look for the purple Tours icon at the bottom right of your screen for a step-by-step walkthrough of the archiving process.
