Integrated Substance Misuse (196714) provides interns with the opportunity to offer services to community members struggling with addiction at all levels of the stepped care model: Outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), Residential Treatment, and Crisis Stabilization/Hospital Based Detox. Centerstone is located in a HPSA, and financial support is provided to trainees to assist them in gaining meaningful training experiences increasing their expertise in providing care to historically underserved populations. Interns also participate in minor rotations providing evidence based SUDs interventions at primary care and integrated community healthcare settings. There is an emphasis on providing socially just, restorative care to our clients. There are additional opportunities within this track for program development and community outreach.

Child Outpatient Community Health (196712) is a training experience in which interns provide evidence based psychotherapy, as well as psychological assessment, to children and adolescents in a community based population. The intern actively participates in the multidisciplinary team. Our clients present with a wide range of biopsychosocial issues, giving the intern the opportunity to work with diagnostically complex clients.
