The most recent items will be added to the top of the list.  Announcements may include specific application requirements or eligibility criteria, information about positions that are no longer available (e.g., due to lost or reallocated funding), application deadline extensions, or information about new positions that just recently became available (e.g., due to new or stable funding) that may not yet be included in the list of available positions provided on the Match web site. Applicants who are participating in Phase II should check this page beginning at 9:00am Eastern Time on Saturday, February 17, 2024 for new postings and on a daily basis throughout Phase II. We further recommend that applicants wait to submit any applications until the first batch of announcements has been posted.

We conduct court-ordered psychological evaluations including Sanity, Fitness to Stand Trial, Miranda, Transfer, and Sex Offender evaluations and provide individual and group therapy. We also provide expert testimony to the Court. We have received notification of approval for an accreditation site visit by APA for Fall 2024 and welcome applications from both accredited and un-accredited doctoral programs. The Baylor College of Medicine Psychology Internship Program has recently confirmed additional internship funding opportunities for Phase II of the Match. We are pleased to announce the addition of a new training track (1 slot) for the upcoming academic year (2024-2025). The new Child & Adolescent Psychology Track focuses on increasing mental health services to children, adolescents, and families in the greater Houston area. The track will involve a collaboration between the BCM Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences and The Harris Center for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Primary clinical tasks include conducting biopsychosocial diagnostic interviews with children and families, psychological assessments, individual therapy (in-person and teletherapy), skills training, case management, referrals to inpatient and/or outpatient services, family partner support, crisis management, and parent and child skills training. There will also be opportunities to provide consultation with schools and families on supporting children’s emotional well-being.
