Clinical Postdoc in Anxiety & OCD
Description: The CBT Center for Anxiety & OCD is currently accepting applications for a postdoctoral candidate, PA licensed or PA license-eligible clinician to join a successful outpatient specialty practice. Interested applicants must have prior clinical training in cognitive behavioral treatment of anxiety and OC spectrum disorders. They must also have a theoretical orientation that is primarily cognitive behavioral. A familiarity with evidence-based treatments such as ERP, MBSR or DBT is strongly preferred. Prior experience treating children, adolescents, and families is required. Excellent work ethic, confidence, interpersonal skills, a team-player attitude and organization are necessary. The CBT Center for Anxiety & OCD treats clients with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Separation Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Specific Phobias (driving, planes, animals, emetophobia), Trichotillomania, Tic Disorder, Hoarding Disorder, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, and all types of OCD including Olfactory Reference Syndrome, Perinatal/Postpartum OCD, Relationship OCD, perfectionism, health anxiety, and violent, existential, religious, sexual, and contamination obsessions. The clinician will also have the opportunity to treat common comorbid conditions such as Depression, ADHD, Learning Disorders, Insomnia and Social Communication Disorder. The CBT Center for Anxiety & OCD offers advanced training in CBT and anxiety disorders, supervision by a licensed Pennsylvania Psychologist, a welcoming office-suite environment with another staff psychologist, and excellent compensation.
