  • STUDENTS

    Students seeking quality internship training and Psychology Internship Training Programs seeking high quality doctoral psychology students are why APPIC exists.  APPIC has organized and coordinated the internship matching process since 1968 by organizing and identifying quality internship.  The APPIC Website gives students access to:  the APPIC Match, the National Matching Services, the APPIC Directory On Line and the online APPIC Application for Psychnology Internship (AAPI). Welcome!

  • POSTDOCS

    Postdoctoral fellows and residents are not members of APPIC but use APPIC resources in search of clinical and research training in professional psychology.  APPIC assists postdocs who are interested in formal training opportunities at an APPIC-member postdoctoral program.  Students seeking postdoctoral training may use the APPIC Directory OnLine, the postdoctoral network listserve and other resources on the APPIC website. 

  • MEMBERS

    The APPIC 2012 Membership Conference will be held in Tempe, AZ on April 26-28. The registration and hotel reservation links are now available. Registration fees include breakfast and lunch on Friday and Saturday; breaks; round trip transportation from the Phoenix airport to the Tempe Mission Palms; wireless access in your room; and more. Hotel reservations are now available. Register for the conference early to avoid late fees and to guarantee your room. We look forward to seeing you there!

  • DOCTORAL PROGRAM ASSOCIATES

    Academic programs that offer doctoral degrees in psychology may become APPIC Doctoral Program Associates (DPA).  The fees paid by DPAs provides substantial benefits to the academic program and its students. Click HERE for more information about joining APPIC as a DPA.

October 19, 2011-Good News for Psychology Internship Training in Texas:  Three new internship programs will be funded by the Hogg Foundation with the expectation the programs will be required to seek APA accreditation as the end result/requirement for the grant award.
