The Clinical Child Psychology Postdoctoral Residency at Fraser Child and Family Services emphasizes psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention with children birth to 18, with a specialty in autism and mental health diagnoses. The primary goal of the postdoctoral residency is to prepare fellows to assume entry-level professional practice with a strong foundation in general clinical skills as well as specialized skills in trauma focused assessment and intervention for children's mental health, assessment and intervention for Autism Spectrum Disorder, with opportunities to receive training in adult autism evaluations, and/or infant and early childhood evaluations utilizing DC:0-5. Residents are exposed to a wide variety of education and clinical experiences with diverse client populations.
Fraser offers two fulltime Postdoctoral Resident positions in Clinical Child Psychology.

- Residents identify their interest in original or applied research at the start of the residency year. They are provided with opportunities to participate in program development utilizing evidence based practice, improving clinical operations procedures, supporting current research studies being conducted at Fraser, as well as support in publishing original research, when appropriate.
