Postdoctoral Fellowship in Health Behavior Change and Mobile Health at Boston University
Description: The Behavioral Science Research Division in the Department of Health Policy and Health Services Research at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, seeks a postdoctoral fellow with strong interest and competency in mobile health and health behavior change. The fellow will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary Center for Mobile and Electronic Health. The fellow will be expected to start an independent project, apply for grant funding, and author manuscripts from existing data sets. Priority content areas include smoking cessation, affect regulation, and pediatric oral health but other areas will also be considered. The fellow will also have the opportunity to be part of a recently funded NIH randomized controlled trial on text messaging and oral health. Statistical expertise and excellent writing skills are required. The fellow will receive mentorship in grant writing and publications and be afforded career development opportunities through Boston University. Applicants should possess a doctoral degree (or ABD) in psychology, epidemiology, or a related behavioral or social science, excellent communication and writing skills, as well as advanced training in research methodology and statistics. Expertise in biostatistics is a plus. Minority applicants are encouraged. Salary and benefits are competitive. The Boston University Medical Campus is comprised of the Henry M.
