Description: A full-time position is available through the Emory University School of Medicine Postdoctoral Residency Program in Health Service Psychology based at Grady Health System, working 50% time on a Suicide Prevention Clinical Research Program with adults who have attempted suicide (Grady Nia Project) and 50% time with adults with serious psychiatric disorders in Grady Health System’s Adult Outpatient Clinic. Candidates must expect to complete all requirements for the doctoral degree (including dissertation and doctoral internship) by September 1, 2016. Both their graduate school and internship training must have been completed at an APA or CPA accredited program. Duties will include completing clinical assessments, conducting psychotherapeutic interventions, providing case management services, engaging in clinical-research, and supervising junior colleagues. Postdoctoral residents participate in a weekly postdoctoral residency seminar, as well as many other educational/didactic training experiences. The salary is $43,692 plus benefits.
