Casa Pacifica Post Doctoral Fellowship

Description: This two-year post-doctoral psychology fellowship provides advanced training in child and adolescent clinical psychology with emphasis on community mental health. Placement is in the Short-Term-Adolescent-Residential (START) program, with strong DBT component. Training includes cognitive-behavioral interventions, crisis management, brief and long-term psychotherapy, psychological assessment, group therapy, and consultation. Supervised training experiences which meet licensing requirements for the state of California are a central component of the fellowship. The fellowship program is a member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers. Eligibility requirements include completion of a doctoral degree from an institute of higher education accredited by the American Psychological Association or other regional accrediting agency and completion of a pre-doctoral internship which meets standards of Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers.
