Battle Creek VAMC Residency: Behavioral Medicine/Integrated Care

Description: Battle Creek VAMC is recruiting a postdoctoral resident with interest in Health Psychology, Primary Care and Integrated Care. Postdoctoral Resident will spend two days (rather than 4 as was previously) in Wyoming Health Care Center (WHCC) engaging in Primary Care-Mental Health Integration with optional Pain Clinic, Cognitive screening, and/or Sleep Intervention experiences. They will spend two days at Battle Creek VAMC rotating within Health Psychology which includes options for Chronic Disease management, bariatric surgery evaluations, support for cross-hormonal interventions for transgender individuals, weight loss interventions, and health consultation. The final day is reserved for quality/research project, didactics, group supervision and administrative meetings. This change was made possible by the addition of staff supervisors with expertise in behavioral medicine.
