Postdoctoral Position in Private Practice

Description: Williamsburg Behavioral Psychology Clinic, L.L.C. (WBP) in Lincoln, Nebraska is pleased to offer a postdoctoral position to a qualified candidate who will have completed an APA-accredited graduate program and an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship prior to the start of the position. The start date is flexible and the postdoctoral position may be completed on a full-time (1 year) or part-time (2 years) basis. Psychologists at the clinic conduct psychological assessments and treatment for a variety of presenting concerns including childhood disorders, anxiety, mood disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., Autism, ADHD), PTSD and stress-related disorders, addictive behaviors, dual diagnosis, and schizophrenia spectrum disorders. Supervision will be provided by one or more licensed psychologists who specialize in areas that match the postdocs clinical interests. The postdoctoral candidate will have the opportunity to provide assessment and therapy for children and adults. In addition, this position also has a strong emphasis on gaining experience with multiple facets of private practice including interaction with insurance companies (e.g., credentialing, claims), building a referral base, and administrative tasks associated with running a practice. The percentage of time the postdoc allocates to different activities is negotiable depending on his/her training goals. The postdoc will receive financial reimbursement through a combination of sources and pay is variable.
