2026 APPIC Membership Conference
May 6 – 8, 2026
New Orleans, LA
Please join us for the 2026 APPIC Conference that will take place in-person from Wednesday, May 6th through Friday, May 8th at the Royal Sonesta New Orleans. The theme of our conference is Navigating Change: Reimagining Psychology Training. Information about the conference is available at the following link: 2026 APPIC Membership Conference. Call for Proposals
APPIC invites Presentation and Poster abstracts and looks forward to programming from our members that is aligned with the conference theme, Navigating Change: Reimagining Psychology Training. We encourage your submissions! Proposals pertaining to a wide range of psychology training issues related to the conference theme are welcome. Specific topic areas of interest include training during the uncertainty of organizational change, advancements in technology and artificial intelligence (AI), managing changes in competency and licensure requirements, adhering to accreditation standards, and developing strategies to meet the evolving needs, learning preferences, and values of trainees.
The APPIC membership conference is for internship and postdoctoral training directors, supervisors, and those psychologists in leadership roles that support training in health service psychology. Programming for the conference is developed with this audience in mind. It is not open to current trainees, students, or administrative coordinators.

Presentation Submissions
Please submit your presentation abstract here.
*You will be asked to set up a free CE-Go account or to login with an existing CE-Go account.
· Abstracts should be no more than 500 words.
· Abstracts must articulate at least three measurable, behaviorally-based learning objectives: APA Learning Objectives
· Presenters must supply at least three evidence-based scholarly references pertaining to education/training, practice, and/or research.
· If your abstract is not accepted for a Presentation, and you would be interested in it being considered for a Poster, please check ‘Yes’ to indicate this in the CE-Go submission platform.
· Presenters are required to be APPIC members, register, and attend the conference. Students/trainees can be listed as authors on a poster or presentation,
but they are not eligible to attend the membership conference.

· Proposals are due by 11:59 pm EST on Friday, October 24, 2025.
· Proposal acceptance notifications will be sent by December 19, 2025.
