Navigating Change: Reimagining Psychology Training

The 2026 APPIC Membership Conference will explore the dynamic and evolving landscape of health service psychology in the context of broader societal shifts. Training Directors are managing significant shifts in training programs, including advancements in technology, changes in competency and licensure requirements, uncertainty in the context of organizational change, increasing workplace demands, as well as evolving trainee needs and learning styles. Participants will engage in meaningful dialogue, share evidence-informed practices, and collaborate on practical, forward-thinking approaches to address current and emerging challenges in the provision of health-service psychology.  

The 2026 Conference will take place in New Orleans, May 6th-8th at the Royal Sonesta Hotel on Bourbon Street.  As always, the conference will be an amazing opportunity to learn from each other, re-connect with training director friends, and make new ones!
