YOU Can Make a Difference!
Philip Zimbardo, APA president, is compiling a compendium of
psychological research that has made a difference in people's
daily lives. Being able to document how psychological research
makes a difference, within the worlds of both science and everyday
life, will provide the tools to do two very important things:
to educate the public about what psychologists do and to make
a case for using psychological science knowledge to policy and
decision makers. Please contribute to this effort and encourage
your colleagues and students to contribute by identifying research
studies that have made a difference in your area of expertise.
