The APPIC Post-Match Vacancy Service

The 2024 APPIC Post-Match Vacancy Service is now open
and will remain available through September 30, 2024

The 2024 APPIC Post-Match Vacancy Service (PMVS) is a process that occurs after the completion of both phases of the APPIC Match, and allows eligible unmatched students to locate vacant internship positions. It began operation at 9:00am Eastern time on March 21, 2024 (the day after the conclusion of Phase II of the 2024 APPIC Match) and will remain available through September 30, 2024.

Please note that the use of this service is restricted to eligible internship programs and to students who attend doctoral programs that are eligible to participate. Eligibility information for applicants can be found here, and a list of eligible doctoral programs can be found on the National Matching Services web site (see "Eligible Doctoral Programs").

Positions that are still available from the Match will NOT be automatically listed in the PMVS. Training Directors must submit the required information in order to be listed.
