Internship Application (AAPI) AAPI
FAQs UPDATED July 10, 2007: The 2007-2008 version of
the AAPI is now available for download! This version of the AAPI has been approved
by the APPIC Board and is valid through April 30, 2008. It should be used only
to apply for internship positions that begin in 2008. This application was developed
based on input from APPIC-member internships and APPIC-subscriber doctoral programs
in the United States and Canada. The AAPI is designed so that it may be
downloaded and completed on an applicant's computer. Once completed, the AAPI
is submitted directly to the internship programs that an applicant wishes to apply
to, along with any other application materials requested by the programs. Most,
but not all, APPIC-member internship programs use the AAPI. Therefore, you should
check the APPIC Directory OnLine
(or with each internship program directly) for details on programs' specific application
procedures and deadlines. The AAPI consists of two separate
downloads: (1) the standardized application form, completed by the
applicant (Part 1), and (2) the Academic Program's Verification of Internship
Eligibility and Readiness Form, completed by both the applicant and his/her academic
training director (Part 2). The Microsoft Word version was developed using
"tables" and "forms" and appears to work best with MS Word. DOWNLOAD:
