A total of 23 applicants from Canadian schools matched to internship positions in Phase II, while 19 remained unmatched and 17 withdrew or did not submit rankings. One position in Canada remained unfilled at the conclusion of Phase II.
As compared to last year, there was an increase in the number of students who were registered for and eligible to participate in Phase II (59 vs. 20 last year, up 195%) and a decrease in the number of positions available in Phase II (24 vs. 49 last year, down 51%).
