The Child NeuroBehavioral Center for Health & Wellness, PC is a private practice offering coordinated and comprehensive neuropsychological and therapy services in the Georgia area. CNC is offering two year Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Fellowships with clinical therapy experience designed to train individuals seeking to work with a variety of psychological and neurological clients. The position(s) parallels neuropsychology requirements according to the Houston Guidelines. Patients are referred by doctors and neurologists. Opportunity exists to work with children, adolescents, young adults, families, and foster/adopted families. Experiences would include psychological and neuropsychological testing, trauma evaluations, evidence-based therapies (PCIT, TF-CBT), play therapy, individual/group/family therapy, Reactive Attachment Disorder work, neurofeedback training, and/or vision and cognitive rehabilitation therapy. Thorough individual and group supervision is provided by Dr. Maria E. Gangarosa-Emerson. Weekly didactic training is incorporated as well as other learning opportunities to include systematic training in psychology, neuropsychology, and neurofeedback. Fellow will be supported in licensure for Georgia (EPPP, state license exam, & oral exam) and/or their desired state, be certification eligible for neurofeedback, learn about private practice operations/ billing, and be supported in the process of application for insurance boards. The practice also currently consists of one psychometrist, two psychological assistants, one neurofeedback tech, two speech language therapists, and two occupational therapists. Stipends start at $45,000.00 and increase in the second year.

- Covid-19 Update: At this site, we are currently open and seeing child interview, testing, and neurofeedback cases with precautions (masks, gloves, air purifiers). All intakes, test feedbacks, therapy, and group therapy are done virtually via Doxy.me. Supervision, in house training, and seminars are done in person with precautions and / or virtually on Microsoft Teams or virtual webinars. No vaccines required.
