The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Division of Rehabilitation Psychology and Neuropsychology offers a two-year full-time resident training program in the major area of study of Neuropsychology. The emphasis is on the use of assessment procedures, treatment interventions, and multidisciplinary team consultation to improve patient and family functioning. The mission of the Neuropsychology Training Program is to provide an organized sequence of didactic and experiential education and training activities, with focused supervision and mentoring, whereby residents can develop advanced competencies in the specialty area of Neuropsychology sufficient for independent practice and eligibility for board certification, and leadership in patient care and research. The Neuropsychology Training Program has been developed in accordance with the INS/Division 40 Guidelines for Postdoctoral Training in Clinical Neuropsychology, the APA guidelines from the National Conference on Postdoctoral Training in Professional Psychology, and the Houston Conference on Specialty Education and Training in Clinical Neuropsychology. It fulfills eligibility requirements for board certification in Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology. The program is not accredited by the APA Commission on Accreditation.

- Research opportunities
- 1/2 day per week dedicated research time. There are many on-going funded research activities in which fellows can participate. Fellows are required to engage in scholarly activities during fellowship, which can include conference presentations and journal manuscripts. They work closely with their program director and mentor(s) to achieve this.
