The Arete Center, founded in 2018, is a rapidly expanding, comprehensive, outpatient behavioral health group. We are located in northern Centennial and serve children, adolescents, adults, and families across the greater Denver metro area. Psychology and psychiatry services are available under the same roof with a team-based and highly collaborative approach to care. Our multidisciplinary setting allows for unique training opportunities, including consultation, teaching, and mentoring by members of our psychiatry team.

The postdoctoral training program at The Arete Center is recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow in Clinical Psychology who has an interest in gaining specialized training and experience in the area of adolescent and adult ADHD. Arete Center postdocs are expected to serve as generalist clinicians; this position will carry a caseload of adolescents and adults, who present with challenges ranging from problems managing daily life stress to more severe and persistent mental illness. The individual selected for this position will also work within a newly developing ADHD clinic for adolescents and adults. The postdoc will provide an array of clinical services, including diagnostic assessment and individual psychotherapy, with opportunities to be involved in family therapy, parent training, executive function interventions, and therapy groups, as well as program development and/or evaluation. Didactic training and supervision specific to the assessment and treatment of ADHD among adolescents and adults will be provided. Supervision will be provided by Licensed Psychologists, tailored to the specific training and professional development needs and goals of the Postdoc, and structured to meet Colorado standards for licensure.

This is a full-time, 12-month position, expected to begin in September 2024. Following a period of caseload building, postdocs are expected to see a minimum of 18 patients per week, over 4 to 5 days. Space is provided at The Arete Center for postdocs to conduct both clinical and administrative duties.

The base salary for this position is $50,000 with the opportunity for productivity-based bonus pay. Postdocs also received paid time off, professional development funds, and reimbursement for professional liability insurance.

Candidates must have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology, including completion of an APPIC-approved internship.
