The Anxiety Treatment Center of Austin offers a one-year postdoctoral fellowship program focused on the treatment of adults with Anxiety and OCD in a private practice setting. The training will focus on evidence-based methods within the scientist-practitioner model. Primary conditions treated include: anxiety, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, social phobia, specific phobias, obsessive and compulsive disorder, and PTSD. The primary treatments will be cognitive behavioral therapy and exposure-based treatments.​We offer a collaborative and supportive environment as there are weekly consultation meetings for staff to discuss cases and individual supervision with supervisor(s) in a focus area. In addition to standard knowledge and experience in treating Anxiety and OCD, unique specialized focus areas include: culturally-responsive care or multicultural counseling, client-therapist dynamics, couples therapy, perfectionism, and group therapy. Scheduling is flexible as postdocs can see clients during normal business hours, evenings or weekends. In-person and virtual appointments are available.
