P. I. E. Corp: Personal Injury Evaluations is proud to announce open applications for a forensic psychology postdoctoral fellowship position for the 2026-2027 training year.
Background and Site Info: Located on the waters of the beautiful Pacific Northwest in Tacoma, Washington, P. I. E. Corp is a private practice known for high-quality, innovative, and evidence-based civil forensic assessments. Our professional identity emphasizes relevancy-focused and streamlined forensic assessment. We particularly specialize in personal injury referrals of all kinds (e.g., sexual abuse, wrongful death, medical malpractice, injury and accident, dog bite, etc.) Our work is social justice oriented, with referrals often involving victims of complex trauma as they navigate the legal system.
P. I. E. Corp psychologists have extensive training and experience in forensic psychology, supervision, and assessment. Our practice is also aligned with a wider network of forensic psychologists in the Pacific Northwest, providing opportunities for training in a variety of other referral contexts.
Training Description: Fellows can expect to write 12 or more forensic civil reports, with opportunities for further training experiences (e.g., other referral questions, research opportunities, etc.) based upon fellow workload and interest. Our program has a particular emphasis on robust and holistic trauma assessment and case conceptualization. We allow the possibility of supervising practicum/externship students as well. P. I. E. Corp aims to offer clinical opportunities for trauma-focused therapy/treatment by the beginning of the training year, with fellow integration dependent upon interest. We have multiple supervisors to ensure a wide variety of evaluations and assessment styles, and an incredible administrative team to help support our training program. Applicants will also learn about practical strategies for creating and managing a forensic psychology private practice. Additionally, fellows will attend regular didactics and supplied trainings relevant to forensic psychology.

Salary and Benefits: P. I. E. Corp offers an NIH-matched salary of $62,500 for the 2026/2027 training year. Additional benefits include health, vision, and dental insurance, matched retirement benefits, three in-person workday week with two entirely remote workdays, 10 days paid vacation and flexible sick leave, compensated trainings and materials, and a compensated trip to the annual American Academy of Forensic Psychology (AAFP) 2026 conference. Fellows with a later start date may elect to attend the 2027 conference as well.

We will schedule virtual interviews through Zoom based upon availability; in-person interviews at our Tacoma, WA, office are also available. Interviews will take place in January of 2026, with a preference for appointment slots on Mondays in that month. Rolling offers will be sent out no later than February 9, 2026.

- Applicants should come from an APA-or-CPA accredited doctoral program (PhD/PsyD). Preference for those who have already completed all degree requirements, such as a dissertation defense. Prior passing of the EPPP or equivalent licensing exam is not necessary. However, if you have already passed, this may be considered as a strength to your application.
