Insight & Change is a psychology and counseling practice with locations in Dallas and Colleyville, TX. We collaboratively focus on strengths-based treatments, to support clients with a variety of mental health needs across the lifespan. Although we all practice independently, the practice sees children, adolescents, adults and couples. We also provide psychological assessments. Our clinicians have experience with multiple approaches, but primarily provide cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic treatments. Job Summary: Insight & Change is seeking full-time post-doctoral psychology fellow with a primary focus on evidence-based counseling and psychotherapy services for adults, children/adolescents, and families. Applicants with specializations in child/adolescent and/or family therapy are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will work in both the Dallas and Colleyville offices, with the possibility of some remote work. Primary duties include intake assessment, individual, relationship and family counseling, group counseling, outreach and consultation, and training. Opportunities for program development and additional training in health psychology will be available.
Requirements: Applicants should have a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited clinical psychology or counseling psychology program, or other degree acceptable to the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP). One year, full-time, supervised, doctoral internship in an APA-accredited college or university counseling center, or other relevant clinical setting (or part-time equivalent). Must be license-eligible in the state of Texas. Experience in the provision of adult, child/adolescent, and/or family interventions. Candidates will be expected to design and implement one outreach/CEU event per 6-month period. This is a one-year post-doctoral position with option for renewal.
