Dallas Mental Health and Performance, PLLC is a small group practice providing individual, consultative, group, and team-based psychological services to late adolescents and adults. DMHP specializes in anxiety, familial issues, identity concerns, perfectionism, and recovering from trauma, as well as having a specialty working with elite and collegiate, athletes. Dr. Ally Wade (DMHP's owner) worked as the Director of Mental Health Services for Southern Methodist University Athletics Department for six years, and maintains a solid relationship with the university. Dr. Wade currently serves on the Dallas Mavericks Wellness Team, and is listed on the USOPC mental health registry. 

The fellowship will provide an opportunity to work with a wide range of clients and concerns, as well as exposure to working with elite, youth, and collegiate athletes, if desired. The training year will provide the ability to hone clinical and consultative skills, as well as learning to further one's identity as an early career professional. The fellowship is aimed at self-motivated individuals, with an interest in working in private practice. Fellows will learn the foundations of building a practice, billing and insurance, and maintaining a steady caseload.  Supervisors aim to provide a warm and supportive supervisory relationship, where a fellow can foster their own confidence, growth, and identity as an early career professional. 

The fellowship will be offered to applicants who have completed their degree from an APA-accredited doctoral program, as well as having completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship. The position will begin in early fall of 2025 (timing dependent on when fellow receives permission from the Texas State Licensing Board to begin their fellowship hours) and will last for a minimum of 12 months. Fellows are able to set their own hours and schedule within the requirements of the Texas State Licensing Board. Fellows will be able to work both in-person (out of DMHP's Dallas based office) and virtually. Fellows must meet the requirements set by the Texas State Licensing Board documenting their ability to practice as a postdoctoral fellow prior to their start date. Fellows will be expected to obtain the required number of hours for licensure in Texas as well as pass all required licensing exams. Fellows will be considered independent contractors who will accept both insurance and private pay clients through their supervisor. 

DMHP is contracted with a major insurance carrier, offers out-of-network documentation for self-pay clients, and maintains a strong referral base. Dr. Wade serves on a number of mental health registries for national sport organizations. Pay will be based on a revenue split, with fellows collecting 60% of the revenue they generate. Fellows will receive weekly supervision, case consultation, and will take part in networking events and outreach presentations in the broader Dallas area, if desired.

Fringe Benefits
The fellow will receive weekly supervision, one hour of group case consultation, the ability to accept a major insurance plan through their supervisor, and will be able to set their own schedule/hours (including some virtual work if appropriate). The fellow will receive 60% of revenue generated (the above is an estimate is based on seeing 18-22 clients per week; seeing more clients will create a higher income than listed).
