The Psychological Services department at the  University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC) in Burlington, VT is accepting applications for a one-year, full-time Postdoctoral Fellowship in Adult Medical Psychology. UVMMC is the tertiary care cornerstone of the University of Vermont Health Network (UVMHN), a six-hospital network serving a population of more than 1 million people in Vermont and northern New York and approximately 160,000 residents in Chittenden and Grand Isle counties. The UVMMC is an academic medical center that provides a full range of tertiary-level inpatient, outpatient, and primary care services.

The Fellow position in Adult Medical Psychology offers the opportunity to provide consultation/liaison to several inpatient medical-surgical units, hospital-based psychotherapy, and the potential for limited outpatient psychological services requested by community and specialty clinic providers. In addition, the Fellow will provide clinical supervision and mentorship to Psychology Interns participating in our APA accredited internship program.

Fellows will have the opportunity to take advantage of a wide variety of medical education opportunities, including weekly Psychiatry Grand Rounds (Sept - June), a monthly gender equity presentation series, and many other learning opportunities as desired. Fellows will also be offered  supervision that meets licensure requirements in the state of Vermont.

Fellows are offered comprehensive health insurance coverage through the University of Vermont Medical Center, which is partially paid for by the UVMMC.
