Circles of Care, Inc. is a not-for-profit, comprehensive behavioral healthcare system. The organization includes five inpatient units, three outpatient facilities, residential programs, and numerous programs that serve the community of Brevard County, Florida.
Our inpatient units have approximately 120 licensed inpatient beds, including acute mental health, crisis stabilization, chemical detoxification, substance use residential, and children's crisis stabilization programs. Circles of Care is accredited by the Joint Commission of Accreditation for Health Care Organizations, is an approved Medicare and Medicaid provider, and has contracts with numerous managed care companies.
Position:
The postdoctoral resident will primarily provide inpatient services. They will represent the Psychology department in several multidisciplinary teams, provide psychological services with a strong emphasis on group therapy and psychological testing, supervise doctoral-level practicum students, and engage in other professional opportunities.
The resident will serve children, adults, and elderly persons with acute and chronic mental illness that represent a wide range of psychiatric diagnoses. The position is for one year and will meet all of the requirements of a postdoctoral residency necessary for licensure in the state of Florida.

Job description: The postdoctoral resident will primarily provide inpatient services in our crisis stabilization inpatient hospitals, participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, supervise practicum students, conduct psychological evaluations, and engage in training opportunities. The population served are children, adults, and elderly. The resident will work under the close supervision of a licensed psychologist and report to the director of inpatient clinical operations.
This is a one-year position that will meet all of the requirements for a postdoctoral residency necessary for psychologist licensure in the State of Florida. The stipend is $62,000 without benefits or $53,000 with full benefits. Supervision is included.
