Residents accrue 4 hours of annual leave and 4 hours of sick leave per pay period for a total of 13 days annual leave (vacation) and 13 days sick leave. There are also 11 federal holidays and the possibility of authorized absence (paid time off, for non-mandatory training activities or VA job interviews).
Research opportunities
Residents have up to eight hours of protected time per week to complete a dissemination/research project of their choosing, in the area of psychosocial rehab for people with SMI. Please see program brochure for additional details.
