The Division of Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Florida College of Medicine is recruiting for 6 psychology postdoctoral fellowship positions for the 2025-2026 training year. For the OCD, Anxiety & Related Disorders Track, candidates must have a doctoral degree from an APA-approved graduate program and internship in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology, and have some prior experience providing, CBT, ACT, ERP, or working with OCD, anxiety, or related disorders. Postdocs will provide up to 24 face-to-face hours each week, with 60% or more of cases being in their specialty track. As the largest psychology practice in North Central Florida, postdocs also provide general clinic services for the remaining portion of clinical time. As a therapist in the UF OCD Program, postdocs will gain experience working as part of multidisciplinary intensive outpatient teams. If interested, postdocs may also provide various group therapy services. Postdocs will be provided with individual supervision and didactic education as well as participate in multidisciplinary case conferences with internationally recognized specialists in the field. 

The Division of Psychology includes 8 faculty members as well as postdoctoral fellows, interns, graduate students, and undergraduate assistants. The Division's mission includes teaching and mentoring trainees in evidence-based clinical service and research with diverse trainees from Clinical, Counseling, and School Psychology. The Division is located in the Department of Psychiatry which allows for frequent inter-disciplinary collaborations and joint learning experiences with residents and fellows in Child and Adult Psychiatry. The duties of this position are primarily clinical. However, supervision, teaching, and research opportunities are available for those who are interested. Fellows may opt for a second year of training, although this option is not guaranteed. The fellowship takes place within a major medical center in a pleasant community with a modest cost of living and a high quality of life. Salary is competitive and includes attractive benefits. The state of Florida does not have income tax.

Our clinical research program cuts across mental and behavioral health to study treatment processes and outcomes in evidence-based psychological and psychiatric treatment with children, adults, and their families. Fellows also have the opportunity to become involved in several studies conducted in clinics for OCD and related disorders across the lifespan,.
