William James College is pleased to announce two (2) postdoctoral training opportunities in assessment and neuropsychology through the Brenner Center. The two (2) Fellowships are full-time and carry a stipend of an annual equivalent of $60,000. The Fellowships will begin September 1st, 2026, and run through August 31th, 2027. The Brenner Center is a generalized testing center that assesses clients across the lifespan for an array of social/emotional, neurodevelopmental, learning, neuropsychological, and attentional disorders. Most of our clients are between the ages of 8 and 24 years, though there are opportunities to work with preschoolers and older adults. We provide weekly didactics, certified training opportunities (ADOS-2 and ADI-R), and numerous opportunities for supervision and feedback from clinical staff. In addition to assessment, there is the option to do individual and group therapy with children and families at our affiliated outpatient psychotherapy clinic. You are also welcome to participate in supervision of interns. Fellows are required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and will be provided with supervision by experienced, licensed psychologists and neuropsychologists. By the end of the Fellowship year, fellows will have completed 2000 training hours. Applicants must have a PhD/PsyD in psychology with APA-accredited or equivalent predoctoral internship. Child training is required, as is prior testing experience. Applicants interested in adding a therapy component to their training experience should also have a foundation in evidence-based treatments, such as CBT. A two year option is available for those applicants interested in pursuing board certification in neuropsychology.
