A one-year, full time postdoctoral fellowship in Health Psychology available August 2025 - August 2026.  The Fellow will provide comprehensive services for adult medical patients with special emphasis on psychosocial oncology, hematology, solid organ transplantation, inpatient consult-liaison across a variety of medical service lines, bariatric surgery, weight management, and burn psychology. Training includes inpatient interventions and outpatient services, with instruction in a variety of techniques.  The fellow participates in departmental teaching and research activities. 

Loyola University Health System (LUHS) is an academic medical center and a 559-licensed-bed hospital that houses a Level 1 Trauma Center, a Burn Center, the Ronald McDonald Children's Hospital, the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center, the Center for Heart and Vascular Medicine as well as the LUC Stritch School of Medicine and LUC Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing.  The clinical psychology training program has been providing training and education to doctoral students since 1997. 

Telehealth options are available for outpatient psychotherapy visits when applicable although full-time on site coverage is required.  COVID-19 vaccination is required for this hospital.  Adequate PPE is available for patients with isolation precautions.
