Elements of quality clinically focused postdoctoral training

This training experience is a planned and programmed sequence of training that aims to ensure preparation for advanced practice rather than one that is focused on providing supervised hours for licensure. Yes

Postdocs receive training in working with clients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents and adults. Fellows can select additional training experiences in experiential therapy, emotionally-focused therapy for couples, group therapy work, child therapy, evidence-based treatment for trauma (EMDR), LGBTQ+ treatment, DEI initiative development and implementation, and other areas of staff expertise. Postdocs can also choose the location in Texas that is most desirable to them (Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth) and construct a hybrid schedule with some in-person as well as remote work.

The postdoctoral fellowship program at Deep Eddy Therapy is designed to support trainees in their final year of supervised clinical experience. Our postdoctoral fellows are trained to become confident and competent professionals, prepared to move into independent practice with a strong professional identity, leadership skills, and sense of purpose. We offer a generalist training track that allows fellows to select from among our staff's diverse areas of expertise to add to their knowledge and skills while also developing confidence in current areas of competence.

Salary range is between $50,000 - $65,000 based on size of caseload and clinical hours per week.
