About the School Health Initiative

Housed within the Mailman Center for Child Development at the University of Miami School of Medicine, the School Health Initiative (SHI) is a project designed to provide comprehensive healthcare services to children in some of Miami’s severely under-resourced communities. SHI now operates in nine schools, providing care to over 12,000 children per year, regardless of their ability to pay. We offer free primary health care and mental health services to students on site and facilitate access to specialists at the University of Miami.

About the Community Based Integrated Primary Care: School Health Initiative postdoctoral position

This is primarily (~85%) a clinical position.
