APPIC E-MAIL LISTS
APPIC maintains a number of e-mail lists for use by the psychology
training community. APPIC's "News" lists are used for the distribution
of news and announcements from APPIC to the list members, while
"Network" lists allow for discussion among the participants.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The following Internet Service Providers (ISPs) appear to be currently blocking e-mail from APPIC's servers (please report problems here):
- Hotmail.com is currently blocking some e-mail for some users, most notably the confirmation message that is sent by APPIC's server when the user first attempts to subscribe (posted 12/3/08)
- Earthlink.net (blocks some e-mails only if spam filtering turned on; posted 9/10/08)
If your e-mail address is associated with one of the ISPs listed above, you may experience difficulty in receiving messages from APPIC's e-mail lists, and we suggest using a different e-mail address (e.g., Gmail) when subscribing. We do not recommend Hotmail due to our long history of delivery problems to that service. Please note that e-mail sent by National Matching Services comes from a different ISP and is likely not affected by the above issues.
