Clark County Community Consortium
Description: This is a full year, full time training experience with a child / adolescent focus, which is fully funded. Clark County Community Consortium is comprised of two sites in the State of Washington –rotations will be with the Clark County Juvenile Court and the Evergreen School District.Residents provide integrated clinical assessment / treatment, psychological testing and consultation in multidisciplinary settings. The residency also provides didactic training and supervision primarily from Cognitive Behavioral and Attachment theoretical backgrounds. The Clark County Community Consortium’s postdoctoral program offers advanced general training in Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on mental health needs in corrections and school based settings. Our training program is an organized experience designed to provide the Resident with planned and programmed supervised training experiences. Our program also provides advanced clinical training in brief psychotherapy, psychological assessment, suicide risk assessment, object relations and cognitive behavioral, attachment and sociocultural perspectives, psychoeducational groups, and consultation.
