Description: Stanford University Post-doctoral Fellowship in Cancer Control and Survivorship Research
We are seeking applications for an NCI-funded post-doctoral research fellow to join the Stanford Cancer Survivorship Research Laboratory in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University(PI: Oxana Palesh). This position provides a full time salary and benefits, as well as an opportunity to earn clinical hours, if needed. Necessary qualifications: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology, or in a related field. Prior research experience or training in behavioral sleep medicine is a plus, but is not essential.
The postdoctoral fellow will join an exciting multidisciplinary environment at Stanford University with opportunities to develop expertise in neuroscience, biomarkers of behavior change, psychooncology, cancer control, and sleep medicine.
The postdoctoral fellow will receive mentorship from the PI and co-investigators in the conduct and design of clinical intervention research and will assist in conducting experimental and control interventions. Furthermore, the postdoctoral fellow will gain experience in the analysis, interpretation, write-up and co-authorship of data for conference presentations and publications. The postdoctoral fellow can also gain experience in helping to supervise research staff and mentoring undergraduate/graduate students.
